Licensed Psilocybin Therapy in Colorado
Find the right support for your profound inner work. Our licensed facilitators provide a grounded, compassionate space for preparation, the journey itself, and integration.
A Colorado-Licensed Psilocybin Healing Center
Entheogyn provides psilocybin services in Golden for adults 21 and older within Colorado's regulated Natural Medicine Health Act framework, including the Proposition 122 context. Federal Schedule I status remains unchanged, so these services are offered within Colorado and do not imply national availability.
Our licensed healing center brings together physician-reviewed screening, licensed facilitators, in-house cultivation, and a carefully held container for preparation, the journey, and integration. Learn about Colorado's legal framework, read our regulation explainer, or review how medical support fits into the process before deciding on a next step.

The Three Phases of Psilocybin Therapy
A psilocybin experience at Entheogyn is not a single event, it is a carefully held arc. Every client moves through three distinct phases, each essential to the whole.
Preparation
Before the JourneyBefore any medicine is administered, every prospective client undergoes a thorough medical intake reviewed by our on-site physician. Our first priority is to do no harm. We screen carefully for contraindications, medication interactions, and personal history that may affect the appropriateness or timing of a psilocybin experience. No session is scheduled until our team is fully satisfied that it is safe to proceed.
Preparation sessions are held in the days or weeks before your journey. You and your facilitator will build a genuine relationship, exploring your intentions, your history, your hopes and fears. Together you will discuss set and setting: what you are bringing into the experience (your mindset, your intentions, your current life circumstances) and the physical and relational container in which it will take place. This is the foundation everything else rests on.
The Journey
The Session ItselfJourney sessions take place in a carefully designed healing environment. You will be invited, never required, to wear an eye mask, which many clients find deepens their inward focus and allows the experience to unfold more fully. The choice is always yours.
Intentional, unfamiliar music is played throughout the session. Curated specifically to enhance the psychedelic experience, these soundscapes serve as a gentle current beneath the journey, moving with the waves of the medicine, holding the emotional arc of the experience without directing it.
You have the right to request that your session be video or audio recorded. This is entirely your choice, and any recording belongs to you.

The Facilitator's Role: Support, Never Guide
We believe your inner healer already knows the way. The medicine is the teacher. Our facilitators are not here to direct your experience or interpret what arises, they are here to ensure you feel safe enough to go wherever you need to go.
"What's coming is going."
We believe trauma is stored in the body and that once these experiences are fully met and processed, they leave us. The medicine is nature. In these journeys, we often encounter the raw, elemental force of Mother Nature herself, not as something to be controlled, but as something to be surrendered to, trusted, and ultimately healed by.
Your facilitator will offer a calming, steady presence throughout the session. They are an empathetic ear, a witnessing companion, a validating force. All parts of you are welcome here, whatever emotions, memories, or experiences arise, nothing needs to be hidden or managed. You will not be judged.
Appropriate touch is offered with your consent, holding a hand, a grounding touch on the shoulder, because sometimes words are not what is needed. We are here to support you through whatever is coming up, no matter what that is.
Throughout the session, your facilitator takes detailed notes on the arc of your experience. These notes are yours, you may request them when you leave, and they often become a meaningful resource during integration.
Integration
After the JourneyThe journey does not end when the medicine does. Integration is the period after your session in which you return to your life and begin making sense of what arose, on your own terms, in your own time.
It is important to understand that integration is not interpretation. It is not the role of your facilitator to put the pieces of your journey together for you. That is your work, and it is precisely that work, the active meaning-making you do yourself, that provides lasting benefit. Research and experience both point to the same truth: when you do the work of integration, it sticks.
Your facilitator is available to sit alongside you in that process, as a supportive presence, a sounding board, a witness, but they will not tell you what your experience meant. You will find that yourself. And what you find will be yours to keep.
Facilitators at Entheogyn are available for ongoing integration sessions following your journey, should you choose to continue that relationship. The client-facilitator bond that forms through this work is one of the most powerful containers for transformation we know of, and we honor it as such.

Pre-Screen Now →What a Group Session Looks Like
Each participant in a group session has their own dedicated mattress, pillow, and blanket, a private sanctuary within the shared space. The room is arranged with intention, giving each person enough room to move freely and feel held within their own world.
There is typically minimal to no interaction between participants during the journey. This is by design, we want each person arriving inward, with their own intentions clear and their own container intact.
A small team of facilitators holds the space for the entire group throughout the session. The group shares the same soundscape and the same space, but the journey itself is deeply individual, you are traveling within, not together in any directed sense.
What participants often report is a quiet, wordless sense of solidarity, knowing others are nearby on their own journeys. For many, this communal container deepens the experience in ways that are hard to articulate but easy to feel.

Our Natural Medicine

Three Forms of Preparation

03
Tea
Prepared as a traditional hot infusion for a gentler onset and smoother experience. The warmth of the preparation reflects the warmth of the ceremony.

Frequently Asked Questions About Psilocybin Therapy in Colorado
These answers offer general information about Entheogyn's Colorado services. A connection call is the best place to discuss your questions with our team.
Colorado permits regulated psilocybin services for adults 21 and older at licensed healing centers under the Natural Medicine Health Act, also known as Proposition 122. Federal law still classifies psilocybin as a Schedule I substance.
The process includes preparation, the journey, and integration. Your physician-reviewed screening and preparation help establish an appropriate container, while integration gives you time to reflect without promising a cure or guaranteed outcome.
Visitors must be 21 or older and complete physician-reviewed screening before a session is scheduled. Our team can explain the process, but this information is not individualized medical advice.
Entheogyn offers individual, couples, group, private-group, and immersive session formats. Reach out to discuss which format may fit your intentions and circumstances; prices remain listed with the offerings below.

Dana Lerman, MD
Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease · Psychedelic Medicine Educator · Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Certified · Clinical Facilitator · Legacy Healer Track
Dr. Dana Lerman is a physician trained in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease at some of the most respected institutions in the country: Mount Sinai School of Medicine, The Mount Sinai Hospital, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she completed her fellowship in Infectious Disease.
Dana was a frontline clinician during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like so many in her field, the weight of those years took a profound toll on her own mental health. That experience became a turning point, one that led her toward the emerging field of psychedelic medicine, not as an observer, but as someone who had lived the need for it.
She went on to train with the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in psychedelic-assisted therapy and has since accumulated over 500 hours facilitating natural medicine sessions. She obtained her clinical facilitator license through Colorado's Legacy Healer Track, a pathway reserved for experienced clinicians with deep roots in healing work and connection with the indigenous medicine stewards of natural medicines.
Founder, Skylight Psychedelics
Dana founded Skylight Psychedelics, a national telehealth practice operating in over 25 states that prescribes ketamine for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health conditions, to be used only within the office of a licensed and trained therapist. Skylight represents her commitment to expanding access to psychedelic medicine within rigorous, ethical frameworks.
Co-Founder, Starlight Clinical Research
Based in Evergreen, Colorado, Starlight Clinical Research is a psychedelic research organization Dana co-founded focused on clinical trials in the psychedelic space, advancing the science that will shape the future of this field.
Zendo Project at Burning Man
Dana has volunteered in multiple roles with Zendo, a peer support camp at Burning Man dedicated to supporting people through challenging psychedelic experiences. She has served as a peer support sitter, medical support, shift lead, and supervisor, grounding her facilitation skills in real-world, high-stakes environments.
Founder, Aya the Tiger
Dana is also the founder of Aya the Tiger, a Burning Man camp that provides peer support services on the playa, specifically for people navigating difficult experiences on psychedelics. It is an expression of her belief that harm reduction and compassionate presence are the foundation of all good psychedelic work.
As an educator in the psychedelic space, Dana speaks and teaches with a focus on harm reduction, responsible facilitation, and the integration of clinical medicine with embodied healing practice.
Dana is a mother of three daughters, four dogs, one cat, several chickens, and a tarantula. She brings all of herself to this work.
