Facilitator Training

Pending Approval

A deeply rooted, comprehensive 230-hour curriculum to become a state-licensed psilocybin facilitator in Colorado.

The Curriculum

Our program is designed to meet and exceed the stringent requirements set forth by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) for psilocybin facilitator licensure. However, compliance is merely our baseline.

Our true goal is to cultivate practitioners who embody integrity, cultural reverence, and clinical excellence. We bridge clinical psychotherapy with ancient wisdom traditions.

Program Leadership
Physician-led curriculum developed and overseen by licensed medical doctors with expertise in psychedelic medicine.
Core Emphasis
Harm reduction principles are woven throughout every module, safety, informed consent, and participant wellbeing above all.

Hands-on experience in a clinical setting. Students will observe and assist in actual psilocybin sessions under the direct supervision of experienced facilitators.

  • Role-playing complex psychological presentations
  • Shadowing live preparation and integration sessions
  • Assisting in actual psilocybin administration sessions

Experiential Component: Facilitators in training also have the opportunity to experience psilocybin themselves in a supported group session, an essential dimension of embodied, empathic practice.

Facilitator training practicum, students and experienced facilitators in a healing room

Post-practicum mentorship conducted entirely online. As students begin facilitating their own supervised sessions, they participate in rigorous virtual case consultations and peer-review to refine their clinical judgment and personal grounding.

Licensure in Colorado

Upon successful completion of the Entheogyn Training Program, graduates are eligible to apply for a Facilitator License through the state of Colorado. We provide full administrative support during the state application process to ensure our graduates transition smoothly into professional practice.

Completion of this program does not guarantee licensure.

The Interview Process

We consider applicants who we feel are in alignment with our ethics, our ethos, and the spirit of our program. We value indigenous wisdom and reciprocity, and we are looking for practitioners who bring both humility and purpose to this work. Submitting an application is the first step, qualified applicants will be invited to a personal interview before a final decision is made.

An Immersive Experience in Mexico

We are honored to be developing a rare cross-cultural immersive experience in Mexico, held alongside an abuela who has spent her lifetime stewarding psilocybin mushrooms within her community's traditional lineage. This is not a retreat. It is an invitation into direct relationship with indigenous wisdom, the land, and the medicine as it has been held for generations.

This experience is an optional add-on, separate from our core training curriculum, and open exclusively to Entheogyn trainees. Details and enrollment will be announced to our community first. If you are interested in being notified, reach out directly.

If you were trained elsewhere, exceptions may be made after thorough evaluation to ensure alignment with our values and approach.
